Welcome back to the Christian Life Connection! This has certainly been an unusual 2020 so far. We pray that you are all doing well and staying healthy — both physically and spiritually.

LWML and the Christian Life Department have many items to help you through this time of COVID-19. Be sure to check out the LWML website at lwml.org for all kinds of activities — devotions, Bible studies, coloring pages, uplifting articles, and information on mission grants. There is something for everyone! 

To highlight just a few, search for reSources — a complete guide to planning monthly programs. It includes Bible studies, devotions, and activities for individuals and groups.

Looking for a Bible study? A Missionary? Me? is a new eight-session study by Karol Selle based on short stories of women serving in the mission field.

Watch also for information on the Writers' Workshop, October 24-26, 2020, at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. This event for beginning and mildly-experienced writers who have a heart to learn to write for LWML is being planned by the LWML Christian Life Department. Registration will open on July 1, 2020. The workshop is limited to 20 participants, so be sure to sign up quickly. See lwml.org for all the information.

Have you been attending Donna Snow’s Overflowing Abundance Bible study live on Facebook? If you haven’t, go to the LWML website and watch the previous videos. Then join us for the next sessions via LWML Facebook Live on Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

The purpose of the Christian Life Committee is to provide materials to engage, encourage, and equip women to grow in their Christian faith and service.

Praise the Lord for the wonderful convention He provided in Mobile, AL with the theme In Praise to the Lord! Over 3000 women and men gathered together to praise and worship our awesome Lord Jesus Christ!

The Christian Life booth in the exhibit hall had many people come by and inquire about the Christian Life materials available. 116 people made cards for missionaries. We were so pleased to give away seven of the newest materials. Following are the winners:

YOU ARE INVITED TO ...

Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League by joining your LWML sisters at our convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico, June 22-25, 2017. The LWML 37th Biennial Convention is less than four (4) months away so visit www.lwml.org/2017-convention for registration and special event information. See you in Albuquerque!

Celebrate the ways God has richly blessed our league for seventy-five years, and the ways He has richly blessed our individual lives through the LWML. Share memories of Mission Grants reaching all sectors of the world; share memories of laughter, travel, servant events, and display booths; share memories of joining together in worship, celebratory choral music, processional banners, and partaking in Holy Communion with thousands of worshipers. The list will never end, as we each recall special people, events and memories we treasure, and join in convention activities to make new memories.

Celebrate with other Christian women during the convention by sharing an hour of your time at the Christian Life Display Booth. Displays will be open on Thursday all day, and Friday and Saturday when convention is not in session. If you are willing to spend an hour sharing Christian Life products (example below) and coloring bookmarks with other LWML attendees, please email jenhuecker@gmail.com.
