LWML Leadership Meets in St. Louis
The week of October 20-26, 2019 will be a busy one for the servant leaders of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). Meetings in St. Louis this week include the LWML Convention Planning Committee, Board of Directors, and the Interdepartmental (ID) Meeting where all newly appointed committees and staff come together for the first time. The theme for ID will be “Inspired to Share His Story,” based on 2 Timothy 3:16-17. ID participants will be planning for the next biennium, creating new resources, and developing ways to encourage women to step out in faith. Please keep them all in your prayers, asking that the Holy Spirit will guide them in all they do to the glory of our Lord Jesus.
LWML Mission Goal Report
Mite Goal for the 2019-2021 Biennium: $2,100,000
Total Mites received to date: $506,560.62
Total Mites needed to reach our goal: $1,593,439.38

Golf Tournament and Pledge Walk Donation Totals
We have the final accounting for our pledge walk and the golf tournament for the 2019 LWML Convention in Mobile, Alabama. Donations made to the pledge walk totaled $68,861.15, and the golf tournament contributions were $12,322.80, for a grand total of $81,183.95. We praise God for those who walked, golfed, sponsored, and prayed for these endeavors. To God be the glory!

Rev. Dr. Dale Meyer Retiring in June
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) thanks our Lord for the service and friendship of long-time supporter Rev. Dr. Dale A. Meyer, 10th president of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL). Rev. Meyer will retire from his position on June 30, 2020. Read the full story here.
Lutheran Women in Mission — The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman's relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries, and to support global missions.
The LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.
