Ideas, Projects, and Programs, Oh My!
The Lutheran Woman’s Missionary League (LWML) has been hard at work. The Christian Life Committee has a new product you’ll love on the website. Many have already used the bookmarks, coloring pages, and cards for all occasions and all ages. The newest ones are by Valerie Matyas, based on "We Are HIS!” Included in this collection is the “Inspired to Share His Story" card. You may download these and many other resources here.
The Christian Resource Editors Committee updated 225 of our best LWML Bible studies and devotions for you to easily access and download from our website. If you need guidance choosing current materials, check out the Program Helps page here.
From the Gospel Outreach Committee comes three activities for you or your group. A Mite Challenge Calendar is available each month. This fun activity has a new item for each day. Or you may be God's hands and feet with the monthly Mission Service Activities.
The Heart to Heart Sisters Committee prepared a sample script and PowerPoint for our Heart to Heart district leaders for use at their district conventions. Even though many conventions became virtual, the district leaders used their personalized script and PowerPoint to share the story of this program. Both of these items are available here. Contact your Heart to Heart district leader to request a copy of her presentation to share with your local group and learn the story of our Heart to Heart Sisters program.
LWML Leader Chats
Formerly known as the “LWML Leadership Interview Series,” LWML Leader Chats feature Leadership Development Committee member Sherrie Smith. Sherrie takes a behind-the-scenes look at the LWML “Dear Lucy Leader” advice column, which Bible story is speaking to her right now, and how things have changed in her role as a Lutheran school teacher this year. Lutheran Women in Mission — The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is an official auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman's relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries, and to support global missions.
The LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.
