New “Steps of Faith” Bible Study
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) invites you to take a journey of faith in a new Bible study, “Steps of Faith,” by Linda Koch. As we think about our faith life as a journey, most will acknowledge that we don’t know how long the trip might be or what might happen along the way. We do know we can be confident of our final destination because of the promises of our heavenly Father. In this study, you have the opportunity to reflect on your challenges and those of individuals in the Bible.
LWML’s newest Bible study is presented in two sessions that would be appropriate for a group study or as a retreat. It includes a leader’s guide and printable bookmarks for participants and is available for free download by clicking here.

Mission Grant Photos Share Joy
Following up on last week’s eNews article on the funding of 2019-2021 Mission Grant #8 — Lights for Christ Scholarship in Zacapa, Guatemala, LWML is pleased to share photos of the graduating students at Divine Savior Lutheran School. This grant supplies funding for an education program that covers most of the students’ basic needs and equips the children in grades 1-6 to reach out into their community with the Gospel.
Another photo shows two women from Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wichita, Kansas, holding the LWML check for this Mission Grant.
These children graduated from sixth grade through Lights for Christ in Zacapa, Guatemala, and will be attending middle school, thanks to scholarships from LWML Mission Grant #8.
