LWML Website — a Wealth of Information
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League’s (LWML) website at lwml.org contains a wealth of information at your fingertips. The LWML has 13 departmental committees. Most of these committees create programs and resources for LWML’s districts, zones, groups, and individuals.
The LWML Christian Life Committee created coloring pages and bookmarks with Bible verses and the LWML logo. They also produce the LWML On The Go Podcasts. Download and listen to these inspirational devotions on your daily walk.
The LWML Gospel Outreach Committee has a mission service activity every month. There is also an LWML Mission Service Calendar that shares service activities to strengthen your faith through service.
The LWML Mission Grant Committee evaluates mission grant proposals submitted each biennium and recommends those that meet LWML’s criteria to the LWML Board of Directors and the Presidents Assembly for approval. The approved grant proposals are presented to the voting body at the LWML convention for selection every two years. Have you used the many resources written by this committee to help your groups and congregations learn how each grant is spreading the Gospel? Current resources for LWML Mission Grant #1 include a descriptive story about the grant, a devotion, a photo-filled poster and a prayer. The prayer guide and story also come in large print. What a great way to share the mission of the LWML with those who are visually-challenged!
These are only three of the thirteen LWML Committees. Following the LWML Interdepartmental meeting in November, LWML eNews will feature an article on each LWML committee once a month with a description of their purpose, plans for new ideas and resources, and a photo of the committee members. Look for these articles and consider how you or your group may utilize these resources.

As of August 31, 2021, the total amount received toward the LWML Mission Goal of $2,150,000 was $551,189.98 with $1,598,810.02 needed to reach our biennial goal. Thank you for your donations.
Beginning October 1, 2021, the mission grant recipients for this biennium may request funding. Please keep these recipients in your prayers as you continue to feed your Mite Box.
